debut in a film described as a cross between "Boys

begin shooting in March.

Album" and "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance." The 43rd

- On
the anniversary of John Lennon's death, Marilyn Manson
presents an acoustic clip of "Working Class Hero", which
is a Lennon song that appears as a B-side on the "Disposable
Teens" single.

cover of Holy Wood has been banned from Circuit City and
Best Buy. These stores will be carrying an alternate album
cover. Manson had this to say. |

show people that the crucifixion of Christ is, in deed,
a violent image. In fact, the picture itself is composed

27, 2001.
- Alanis Morissette's
1995 album Jagged Little Pill was the best seller of the
'90s, according to SoundScan numbers released Monday (January
3). The release, the Canadian singer-songwriter's third,
sold more that 13.7 million albums in the decade, as fans
in droves connected with confessional rock anthems like
"You Oughta Know," "Hand In My Pocket" and "Ironic."
